What is Google Alerts?
Google Alerts is a service that alerts you based on whatever you select as your alert. For example, say your business name is “Harry’s Plumbing Service”. Whenever this name is mentioned Google will send you an email telling you the website that mentioned this name.
Why is this good? You can check whether what is being said is good or bad. People talk about businesses all the time. That’s how we learn to either purchase or avoid a certain company.
Google Alerts is a local business marketing strategy that will alert you at any mention of your business name, service or product. Then, if the review was bad, you can make amends by explaining yourself and put your business back into a better light.
As you can see, there are many ways to use Google Alerts to provide a great benefit to your business.
